DECEMBER 19, 2012 - David Cloud; - The following are testimonies prior to the 1948 establishment of the modern state of Israel that Israel would be restored. These testimonies were based on a literal interpretation of the Bible prophecies that the Jews would return to the land of Israel.
Those who interpret the Bible literally will not be disappointed!
“... a future restoration awaits this people, and will be to the world a glorious demonstration of the truth of prophecy. ... Three things are certain: the Jews themselves expect it; they are preserved by the providence of God as a distinct people for their country; and their country, which is in fact possessed by no one, is preserved for them” (Samuel Wakefield, Theology, 1869, p. 96).
“The Jews will then be settled in their own land. Having returned in unbelief, they will have formed themselves into a flourishing community. ... Reader, these things may soon take place. The mighty armies are to be mown down before the brightness of Christ’s glory, when like the lightning He shall descend from heaven. Let not the infidelity of our days lead you to question the possibility of such things” (Alfred H. Burton, The Future of Europe and Russia’s Destiny in the Light of Prophecy, 1896, pp. 72, 73
“Israel is yet to be revived, and Jesus says: ‘Learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh’ (Mat. 24:32). What is the meaning of the modern Zionist movement, and the widespread interest in the return of the Jews to Palestine? A distinguished Jewish Rabbi said recently: ‘There is no Jewish nation, and there never will be. The Zionists that make so much noise do not represent Jewish sentiment. There is no general movement to restore Israel to Palestine. We preach today not Jewish nationality but universal Judaism, humanitarianism, the unity of God and man. Washington is to us a second Moses. When he freed America from Tyranny he created a haven of refuge for all the oppressed, including the Jews. Why do we need Palestine? We have America. That is enough.’ Continued:

Root Of Conflict Is Not Settlements, But Israel’s Very Existence, Netanyahu Says
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Tuesday dismissed heavy criticism of Israel’s recent announcement of new housing construction in East Jerusalem and the West Bank, saying the root of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict “is not the settlements, it is the very existence of the State of Israel and the desire to wipe it off the face of the Earth.” Continued:

By JODI RUDOREN - Published: December 25, 2012 - JERUSALEM — Amid outrage across the Jewish diaspora over a flurry of recent arrests of women seeking to pray at the Western Wall with ritual garments in defiance of Israeli law, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has asked Natan Sharansky, the chairman of the Jewish Agency, to study the issue and suggest ways to make the site more accommodating to all Jews.
The move comes after more than two decades of civil disobedience by a group called Women of the Wall against regulations, legislation and a 2003 Israeli Supreme Court ruling that allow for gender division at the wall, one of Judaism’s holiest sites, and prohibit women from carrying a Torah or wearing prayer shawls there.
Although the movement has struggled to gain traction in Israel, where the ultra-Orthodox retain great sway over public life, the issue has deepened a divide between the Jewish state and Jews around the world at a time when Israel is battling international isolation over its settlement policy. Critics, particularly leaders of the Reform and Conservative movements in the United States, complain that the government’s recent aggressive enforcement of restrictions at the wall has turned a national monument into an ultra-Orthodox synagogue.
“The prime minister thinks the Western Wall has to be a site that expresses the unity of the Jewish people, both inside Israel and outside the state of Israel,” Ron Dermer, Mr. Netanyahu’s senior adviser, said in an interview on Tuesday. “He wants to preserve the unity of world Jewry. This is an important component of Israel’s strength.”
Mr. Sharansky, whose quasi-governmental nonprofit organization handles immigration for the state and is a bridge between Israel and Jews around the world, said that Mr. Netanyahu asked him on Monday to take up the matter, and that he expected to have recommendations within a few months. He and Mr. Dermer said the agenda would include improvements for Robinson’s Arch, a discrete area of the wall designated for coed prayer under the court ruling, and the easing of restrictions in the larger area known as the Western Wall plaza, along with the more sensitive questions regarding prayer at the main site.Continued:

by Moshe Feiglin - After the Pillar of Defense cease-fire, many now understand what we understood after the Zo Artzeinu demonstrations: The Israeli crisis is not on the continuum between Right and Left. It is on the continuum between Israelis and their Jewish identity.
We knew exactly where the Oslo Accords would lead. The huge amount of people who answered Zo Artzeinu’s calls and blocked traffic throughout the entire country understood the reality. Ultimately, we succeeded – against all odds – in electing the Right to rule. But Zo Artzeinu refused to “cash in” politically on the tremendous public credit that it had accrued. We understood that the Right also had no solution and that it was also incapable of getting off the Oslo track.
Many are angry with Prime Minister Netanyahu for signing the cease-fire. But Netanyahu’s predicament is a precise reflection of post-Oslo Israeli society. If Netanyahu had ordered a ground invasion of Gaza, soldiers would have been killed. After a short period of time he would have pulled the troops out of Gaza without significant achievements. After all, he had no intention of remaining. The retreat after many more fatalities would have ignited much more virulent criticism.
To remain in Gaza, we must first renounce the very essence of the idea of partitioning the land of Israel. We have to internalize that this is exclusively our land. We must, on a national scale, return to the land of Israel and to our Jewish identity. We must beg for the forgiveness of the Jews expelled from Gush Katif and rebuild their towns and villages with the forces that destroyed them – and bring them back to their rightful place with an honor guard.
We must vote with our feet, declaring to all that this is our land and proving to our enemies that this is not their land. Most important is that we must expel the Muslim waqf from the Temple Mount and restore exclusive Israeli sovereignty over the Mount – Judaism’s holiest site. We must encourage Jews to ascend the Temple Mount after the proper halachic preparations and to actualize their sovereignty over the beating heart of the Jewish nation.
If we do not take all these measures, there really is no reason to endanger our soldiers just so they can go into Gaza and retreat again. Every round of this type of fighting only proves the enemy’s claim that we are colonialist conquerors and not liberators of our own land. Security and pragmatic claims don’t convince the world anymore. The Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial no longer does the work for us. It can’t be a replacement for the true justice of our cause. Just a short time after a hypothetical ground invasion of Gaza, international public opinion would come down squarely on the side that talks about justice – the very justice that we, with the cursed Oslo handshake, deposited into the hands of Yasir Arafat.

November 8th, 2012 By: Jewish Press Staff - Despite the verbal confrontation between Israel and Iran over Tehran’s nuclear program, Israeli and Iranian officials participated this week in secret talks in Brussels, Belgium, on dismantling both countries’ arsenals of nuclear and other weapons of mass destruction, Julian Borger reported in the Guardian.
Participants included Jeremy Issacharoff, the Foreign Ministry’s Deputy Director for Strategic Affairs. The chief Iranian representative is Ali Asghar Soltanieh, Iran’s ambassador to the International Atomic Energy Agency in Vienna. The meetings are moderated by Finnish diplomat Jaakko Laajava, whom the UN secretary general appointed to organize the planned conference in Helsinki. The talks, conducted in a seminar format, were held under the auspices of the EU. A media blackout was imposed on the discussions and participants have pledged not to publicize even the fact that the talks are being held, much less anything about their content. Continued:

"I would say that this country doesn't ask permission from any other country to act. Okay?"
By: Yori Yanover - Published: December 13th, 2012 - If we were to read between the lines of an exchange during a State Dept. daily press briefing, Wed. Dec. 12, 2012, then the U.S., through our European allies, are busy trying to get bilateral, face to face negotiations going with the Iranians, over Iran’s nuclear program.
As was the case with the North Korean negotiations over the past decade plus, the Jury is out on which works better in the end, group talks or US-only face-to-facers. If anything, the Korean example seems to prove that neither approach really works if the other side is comprised of habitual liars hell bent on destroying us.
That aside, pay attention to the ease with which State’s Spokesperson Victoria Nuland glides into the possibility of bilateral talks with Iran.
Nuland took a question on Israeli reports that the Administration is looking to pursue direct talks with Iran over the next four or five months and is doing so without asking Israel’s permission. Continued:

Take a close look at this PRESENT DAY MAP of the Middle East in which you can see that 22 Arab and/or Muslim [Iran is not considered Arab] nations completely engulf Israel. Can anyeone explain how "expansionist Israel" has "taken over" the Middle East? The Arab countries occupy 640 times the land mass as does Israel and outnumber the Jews of Israel by nearly fifty to one. So much for Arab propaganda!
Now notice the TOTAL area of Israel and Jordan. This was referred to as "Palestine" and mandated under British administration following World War I (see next map below). How convenient that today's Arab propagandists forget that land east of the Jordan River was also part of "Palestine" and was, in fact, established to facilitate the recreation of a Jewish national home in Palestine - Eretz Israel!

Shamrak's Report - Steven Shamrak, Australia: Writing letters, articles or fighting anti-Israel bias in the media are important activities, but hardly enough to achieve the shift of political direction! Ha'Uma is the concept of creating a grass-root network of people and organizations, of various political views, with commitment to active and determined work toward the achievement of the Jewish National goal: "Jewish people have the right to live in peace on all Jewish ancestral land - Eretz Israel"
There are many individuals, groups, organisations and even parties who share the same inclination. In order to change the status quo, Jewish people and our true friends must be united in one formidible force.
We must disseminate the truth about the Arab-Israel conflict and fight apathy within Jewish communities. We can start promoting the idea among the members of our own family, friends and within the organisations we belong to.
Remember, we are creating our own reality. Just imagine, if Moses, Joshua and Jabotinski had resigned to the 'current reality' and had given up their dreams.
There are no legal, historical or moral grounds for the Arab claims. Compromise has not worked and will not work. It will only bring the annihilation of Israel and Jewish people. Only by uniting Jewish people and our true friends behind the idea of Eretz Israel - Land of Israel, it is possible to bring peace to Israel and to the region.

Posted by Steven Shamrak, February 28, 2011. We write good articles full of facts supporting the rights of Israel to exist and exposing lies of our enemies, protest anti-Israel media bias, sign an endless stream of petitions, call our political representatives and still wonder why nothing has changed. Meanwhile, the situation in Israel is getting worse! All of these activities are very important, but in order to defeat our enemies and bring peace to Israel, if we honestly examine the history, we have to admit that these efforts will never change the world's attitude toward Jews and Israel. It has never really worked! Only a strong Israel and a self-respecting Jewish nation will be able to change the current ugly reality.
We must set our own goals, develop plans of action and execute it. That's what people do in sports, business and in their personal life to make a difference. The biggest secret is — any goal can be achieved — one just needs to have a burning desire, followed by action, to achieve it!
Our enemies love when we squander our time and resources on a rebuttal of their stupid accusations and anti-Israel smear campaigns. This takes our attention away from the pursuit of our national goals. Hazborah is an important part of the process of defeating enemy propaganda, but it leads nowhere without action toward reunification of all Jewish land, freeing it from Arab occupation and establishing all of Eretz-Israel! by Steven Shamrak. - Many Jewish groups, organizations and individuals are actively involved in signing petitions, writing letters and monitoring anti-Semitism worldwide. These are very important activities, but they all are missing direction.
Jews must unite behind the most important objective - the Jewish National goal: "Jewish people have the right to live in peace on all the Jewish ancestral land". Only by uniting behind the National Goal Jews have the chance to survive the modern, internationally orchestrated, anti-Jewish onslaught!
This is the only goal that is worthwhile to pursue. It is the right of Jewish people and must be pursued regardless of a political affiliation and external factors like, Arab intentions to destroy Israel and the International anti-Semitism! It is the National right that Jewish people dreamed about for 2000 years! Therefore, regardless of political affiliation of any Jewish group, political party or individual, communist or capitalist; Orthodox, Secular or Atheist - all of them can support and be united behind this goal. And, it would not contradict their ideology.
It is imposable to achieve anything without setting an objective. We need to revive, re-ignite and be clear about the Jewish National Goal and aspirations. We can’t afford to waste time anymore. Our enemies declared their intention clearly, recently and in the past. Our ambiguity is just inflaming their hate! Continued:

Posted by Paul Rotenberg, February 27, 2011. The Zionist Organization of America (ZOA) has urged the Israeli Government, in the wake non-stop, continuing Palestinian Authority (PA) efforts to malign and delegitimize Israel with lies, to start publicly delegitimizing the PA by stating the truth about the PA regime's pro-terror, racist, anti-peace words and deeds.
The ZOA believes that such an effort must be led by the Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu — it cannot be led by ministers or individual Knesset Members, valuable as their contribution can be. Imagine the impact of Prime Minister Netanyahu calling a press conference, with posters showing horrific anti-Israel statements made by PA leaders in public or to the Arab media, or with pictures of Palestinian posters glorifying terrorists, or the Fatah emblem showing Israel draped in a Palestinian headdress and labeled Palestine behind him, explaining that the PA must accept Israel's existence as Jewish state, arrest terrorists and outlaw terrorist groups and end incitement to hatred and murder or else peace is impossible. Individual Israeli politicians can be ignored by the media, but the Israeli Prime Minister has a unique ability to place this vital issue on the international radar screen. By Steven Shamrak - The Western democracies will be defeated not by Islamic terrorist attacks, but by the blackmail of Muslim voters! Recent wave of Islamic migration to the West is part of a global plan of stealth colonisation and destruction of infidels' way of life. Step by step, they rot our fundamental values and force self-serving, gutless and corrupt politicians to bow to Islamic demands. The change of voting position by Australia at the last week's UN resolution on the PA's status is just the latest example. The French government has sold its soul to Arab countries a long time ago. Anti-Semitism is still a main motivating factor of France and most the UN members!

11/22/12 05:06 PM ET EST CAIRO — The top leader of Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood denounced peace efforts with Israel and urged holy war to liberate Palestinian territories on Thursday – one day after the country's president, who hails from the movement, mediated a cease-fire between Israelis and Palestinians to end eight days of fierce fighting.
"The enemy knows nothing but the language of force," said Mohammed Badie. "Be aware of the game of grand deception with which they depict peace accords," he said in a statement carried on the group's website and emailed to reporters.
His statement was a sharp deviation from the role played by President Mohammed Morsi in the last week. Egypt's role in brokering the deal has been hailed by U.S. officials.
The Brotherhood sometimes delivers conflicting messages, depending on its audience. There are also ideological and generational divisions within the movement, with older leaders like Badie often seen as more conservative.
The Muslim Brotherhood doesn't recognize Israel and – at least officially – its members refuse to hold direct talks with Israeli officials. But Morsi has said that he will abide by the terms of Egypt's 1979 treaty with Israel, and many members say they are in little hurry to enter into armed conflict with the Jewish state. Continued:

From Haaretz: - 11/22/2012 - U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton warned Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during her talks in Israel this week not to take any extreme actions in response to the Palestinian move in the United Nations for recognition as a non-member state. Clinton said such steps against the Palestinian Authority could bring about its collapse. The Palestinians are planning to ask the United Nations General Assembly to vote on upgrading its status from non-member entity on the symbolic date of November 29.
The day after the cease-fire with Hamas took effect, Israel is preparing for the next crisis with the Palestinians, which is scheduled for six days from now. November 29th is the anniversary of the United Nations vote on accepting the Partition Plan in 1947, which led to the founding of the Jewish Sate. It is also the United Nations' International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People.

'The enemy knows nothing but the language of force'
Published: 11/22/2012 at 11:30 AM CAIRO (AP) — The top leader of Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood denounced peace efforts with Israel and urged holy war to liberate Palestinian territories on Thursday – one day after the country’s president, who hails from the movement, mediated a cease-fire between Israelis and Palestinians to end eight days of fierce fighting.

The ink on the Egyptian-brokered ceasefire agreement ending the Israel-Hamas fighting was barely dry Thursday, when the head of Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood Mohammed Badi launched a verbal tirade on Israel, calling for holy jihad and denouncing peacemaking efforts.
The Associated Press reports from Cairo: The top leader of Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood denounced peace efforts with Israel and urged holy war to liberate Palestinian territories on Thursday — one day after the country’s president, who hails from the movement, mediated a cease-fire between Israelis and Palestinians to end eight days of fierce fighting.
“The enemy knows nothing but the language of force,” said Mohammed Badei. “Be aware of the game of grand deception with which they depict peace accords,” he said in a statement carried on the group’s website and emailed to reporters.

by AWR Hawkins 25 Nov 2012 - While Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak and Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman are defending cease-fire arrangements with Hamas, the Muslim Brotherhood says now is the time for Palestinians to rise up and wage "holy war" against Israel. In other words, even as Israeli officials justify letting Hamas off the hook for now, the Muslim Brotherhood is urging Hamas to take advantage of Israel's complacency and launch bold military strikes.
This message was delivered by Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood leader Mohammed Badie one day after the cease-fire between Israel and Hamas was settled. By intimating that the cease-fire and all other "peace accords" are a ploy by which Israel seeks control of the Palestinian people, Badie warned that Hamas and the Palestinian people at large are being blinded by a "grand deception." To put it another way: Hamas is not to abide by the cease-fire, rather they are to use it to their advantage.

Iran is trying to surround Israel on three sides with its "axis of evil" by offering free oil to Jordan. Iran and Syria, through its Hizbullah ally, threatens Israel on the northern border, and the Hamas-Muslim Brotherhood alliance south of the border allowed massive rocket and missile attacks on Israel.
Was Israel Bullied to the Ceasefire by Super Powers?
The Russian Black Sea Fleet's naval task force has been ordered to remain in the eastern Mediterranean ready to evacuate Russian citizens from the Gaza Strip. Moscow used the same pretext as Washington, readiness to evacuate nationals in an emergency, to account for the presence last week of the USS Iwo Jima and two other warships in the East Mediterranean.
Reshuffling of Political Rats/Left
Seven Knesset members who belong to the Kadima party have filed a request to split off from the party and form a Knesset faction affiliated with Tzipi Livni's new political party. Kadima is expected to disappear or come close to it in the coming elections. The MKs' move could bring Livni more than one million shekels in campaign funding. Existing parties' spending is based on the number of current MKs they boast.
(Why is Israel's future and survival still based on egocentric, self-serving personalities? Livni's new party "The Movement", like "Kadima" it is advancing nowhere!)

Intelligence Ministry says suspects linked to 'Zionist regime' arrested; claims bombs, machine guns, military and communication equipment seized
News agencies Published: 04.10.12, 16:47 / Israel News Iran said on Tuesday it had identified a "major terrorist group" it said was affiliated to its arch-foe Israel and had arrested some of its members, the official IRNA news agency reported, citing a report by the country's Intelligence Ministry.
"Iran's Intelligence Ministry announced it has identified a major terrorist group from the Zionist regime (of Israel) and has arrested some of its protected operational members inside the country," IRNA reported without making clear when the arrests had taken place.
IRNA reported that several "mercenaries" were arrested in different parts of the country and that large quantities of weaponry and telecommunications equipment were seized.

By NBC News staff and wire reports - Updated at 2:15 p.m. ET: On the third day of escalating violence between Israel and Gaza, air raid sirens cried out in Israel’s two largest cities, Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, as residents moved into underground shelters, NBC reporters on the scene said.
At least one rocket fired from Gaza toward Jerusalem landed outside the city, which is more than 60 miles from the Gaza Strip, according to NBC's Martin Fletcher. There were no injuries or damage. This was the first Palestinian rocket to reach the vicinity of Jerusalem since 1970.
Earlier, at least one rocket fired toward coastal Tel Aviv fell into the sea.
Wake-up call for Israel's city that never sleeps
Advertise | AdChoices"The rocket landed off the shores of Tel Aviv," a police spokesman told Reuters. This was the second attack on Tel Aviv in as many days, with rockets nearly hitting the city on Thursday.
The attacks, which Israel considers to be a major escalation, could lead to an Israeli ground invasion of Gaza.
Israel's military is considering waging a ground campaign. It started drafting 16,000 reserve troops on Friday, as Israel's cabinet authorized the mobilization of up to 75,000 reservists. Troops are massing on the border, and witnesses said they could see Israeli ships off Gaza's coast, NBC News' Ayman Mohyeldin reported. Continued:

By LAHAV HARKOV 11/26/2012 14:45 Defense minister will remain in position until new government is formed following elections. Defense Minister Ehud Barak announced his resignation from political life on Monday, saying his final decision was delayed by Operation Pillar of Defense and hinting at the possibility of being appointed to his post again after the January election. “Fifty-three years ago, I enlisted in the IDF, and since then I have served the country,” Barak said at a press conference at the Defense Ministry in Tel Aviv.Barak will remain defense minister until the next government is formed in January, after a total of seven-and-a-half non-consecutive years in the post under three governments, including one he led as prime minister.
This is the second time Barak is resigning from politics. The first followed his loss of the premiership to Ariel Sharon in 2001. In 2002, Barak went into business, becoming a multi-millionaire, and returned to politics five years later as defense minister under then-prime minister Ehud Olmert.
“I made the decision with great difficulty,” Barak said. “I want to spend more time with my family, and I feel I did all I could in politics. I was never passionate about politics, and turnover in positions of power is a good thing. There are many ways to contribute to the country, not just politics.”
Barak added that he debated his political future for several weeks, but that the recent operation in the Gaza Strip delayed his decision. Continued:

A senior Iranian commander says the United States planned the 9/11 terrorist attacks to use them as pretext to invade the energy-rich Middle East. “The US, looking for a pretext to invade the Middle East, masterminded the 9/11 incident and pointed an accusing finger at Muslim countries,” Commander of the Iranian Army Ground Forces Brigadier General Ahmad-Reza Pourdastan said on Saturday.
Pourdastan added that following the fall of the Soviet Union, the US introduced itself as the world’s sole superpower and moved to instill the new world order to prove its supremacy.
The Iranian commander noted that the US later found its geopolitical policies a failure and decided to follow a geo-economic policy and control the world’s energy resources, 60 percent of which was located in the Middle East.
“To achieve that goal, they launched preemptive attacks on Afghanistan and Iraq, and Iran was their next target, but wise policies adopted by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei along with the unity of the Iranian nation prevented them from achieving their objective,” Pourdastan said.

Russian warships are being deployed off the Syrian coast in the Mediterranean Sea to deter any military intervention by the Western states in the Arab country, a report says.
Citing a Russian diplomat, The Sunday Times said that Russia has sent five landing ships, carrying military vehicles and hundreds of marines, as well as combat vessels in the eastern Mediterranean recently.
“Russia should be prepared for any developments, as it believes the situation in Syria might reach its peak before Easter,” the Times quoted the diplomatic source as saying on condition of anonymity.
The diplomat added that the presence of the Russian marines near the Syrian waters will deter “the West from deploying ground forces” in Syria to help militants fighting the government forces.
Russia, however, says the ships have been deployed to participate in a drill to "improve the management, maintenance and testing of the interaction of naval forces.” Continued:

Facility located near road linking capital Damascus with Aleppo, the country's largest city.
By DPA - Jan.03, 2013- Syrian rebels on Thursday fought to capture a key military airport in the north used by President Basher al-Assad's air force to bombard their posts, an opposition group said.
The Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported fierce clashes in the vicinity of the Taftanaz military airport near the northern province of Idlib.
Rebel fighters, mainly from the al-Nusra Front and Ahrar al-Sham Islamist groups, briefly broke into the airport and stormed its command before being repulsed by government forces, the observatory said.
The airport is used by al-Assad's forces to bombard opposition strongholds in the north where rebels have made significant gains in recent months.
The facility is located near a road linking the Syrian capital Damascus and Aleppo, the country's biggest city close to the border with Turkey.
The United Nations said on Wednesday that the death toll had reached 60,000, the highest estimate in the 21-month crisis. It said the real figure could be higher.

by Tzvi Ben Gedalyahu - Resignation of Defense Minister Ehud Barak from politics is another crack in the foundations of the centre-left, which has been in a state of denial ever before the expulsion of Jews from Gush Katif and other Jewish communities in Gaza and northern Samaria in 2005.

Buoyed by a largely centre-left Israeli and foreign media, which have done all but openly campaign against Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, the Labor and Kadima parties have been grasping a dead limb that props up Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas as a "peace partner." The centre-left parties feed themselves on feeling good over support of the international community to divide Jerusalem and rid Judea and Samaria of Jews.
At the same time, the truth has been oozing out of a package of illusions designed and produced under the Oslo Accords and signed by the Labor government's Peres-Rabin duet.
Every time the Israeli government, whether under Ariel Sharon before he ditched his nationalist policy and formed Kadima, or under Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, let Abbas off the hook on a commitment in the Accords, the United States and media termed it a "good will concession."
Blatant discrimination against nationalists has been highlighted in court lawsuits that have exposed police violence against youth for their presence at outposts slated for destruction in the middle of the night, while a hands-off policy generally has been applied to "social justice" protesters illegally blocking highways.
Similarly, the judicial system until recently has upheld wholesale discrimination in favour of illegal Arab houses and Bedouin "unrecognised villages" while rushing to approve demolitions of "illegal" Jewish homes that were built with government approval but without the required signature of approval by none other than Barak.
...Israeli media, a major source for news and opinion for foreign media, repeatedly were silent while police expelled women and children in the middle of the night from their homes. The same media were all over themselves during the 2005 protests against the planned expulsions, interviewing Child Welfare officials about the "abuse" of babies accompanying their mothers in 100-degree heat.
...More than 15,000 rockets and missiles later, Barak's resignation is a political admission that the centre-left really has no policy and no ideology except to be in the opposition, which is where it apparently will remain for quite a while.

Ehud Barak is not stupid. He sees the handwriting on the wall and it reads “nationalist.” The left’s house of cards is collapsing.

Source confirms missiles in underground silos target Tel Aviv
Published: 12/04/2012 at 8:29 PM by Reza Kahlili - Iran has 170 ballistic missiles aimed at Tel Aviv, many with biological warheads, WND has learned. According to a source who served in Iran’s Intelligence Ministry and who recently defected, the Islamic regime has 170 missiles targeted at Tel Aviv from underground silos, some of which are armed with biological warheads.
The Islamic regime ruling Iran has prepared for the total destruction of Israel as well as a capability to target European capitals, he said.
As reported in the Washington Times in August, a commentary in Mashregh, the media outlet of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards, confirmed that the Islamic regime not only has weapons of mass destruction but has armed its terrorist proxies with them, including Hezbollah and Islamic Jihad. The commentary warned Israel that if the fighting in Syria does not stop, an all-out attack on the Jewish state will be launched and that at zero hour, Tel Aviv will be the first city to be destroyed.
The CIA has long warned about Iran’s growing missile threat, and in 2010, Defense Secretary Robert Gates warned Congress of Iran’s capability of launching a salvo of missiles, even at European capitals. U.S. intelligence officials believe those missiles could be tipped with biological or chemical warheads.
A senior Iranian cleric, Ayatollah Ahmad Khatami, warned then that Tel Aviv “will burn to ashes,” and the regime’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, promised “the superfluous and fake Zionist regime will disappear from the landscape of geography.”
The source, talking to WND, confirmed that Iran has made significant advances on several fronts – chemical, biological, nuclear and electronic warfare – and that the regime is looking at the deterioration in Syria and the possibility of an attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities with the intent of setting Israel and the region on fire.
The regime is adamant about its support of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, the source said, and is working on its nuclear weapons program at several sites unknown to the West. The International Atomic Energy Agency, the source said, is on the wrong track by focusing only on the Natanz and Fordo nuclear sites.
