- POLL OPPOSITION YESH
ATID PARTY IN DEAD HEAT WITH NETANYAHU'S LIKUD
- November 27, 2017 - Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahus
Likud party has been slipping in the polls. The latest survey
has Likud even with Yair Lapids,Yesh Atid.
- By: Batya Jerenberg, - World Israel News - If elections were
held today, the ruling Likud would be in a dead head with the
opposition Yesh Atid (There is a Future) party. Each of the top
two parties would receive 24 seats in the 120-seat Knesset. The
center-left Zionist Union would win 17 seats, while the ultra-Orthodox
Sephardic party Shas would barely makes it over the threshold
at four seats. In a survey made public on Channel 10 news on
Sunday, Yair Lapids Yesh Atid party has strengthened considerably
more than doubling its current number of 11 Knesset members.
Meanwhile, 24 seats for the Likud would mean a loss of over 20%
of its mandate (down from the current 30).
As reported in the Hebrew-language Walla, Prime Minister Benjamin
Netanyahus apparent slide and Lapids gain have been
building steadily over the past year. Each time there was a new
crisis Israel Railways work on the Sabbath last
year, the rash of corruption investigations involving Netanyahu
that came to light at the beginning of this year, and the recent
fiasco concerning the establishment of the new Israeli Public
Broadcasting Corporation Yesh Atid seemed to gain at the
Likuds expense. The current surveys showed it may surpass
the Likud altogether in the not-too-distant future..
- The survey, conducted by Prof. Camil Fuchs in conjunction
with Midgam and Stat-Net, noted that a major loser would be the
center-left Zionist Union, headed by its newly elected leader,
Avi Gabbay, which would fall from its current 24 seats to 17.
A number of a number of coalition heads had announced that they
would not sit in a future government with Gabbay at its head.
- The Shas party, which in its heyday boasted 17 Knesset members,
is in greater danger, as the new projections show it would barely
make it over the election threshold with four seats, down from
the seven it has now.
- Meanwhile, the other big winner would be Bayit HaYehudi (Jewish
Home), headed by Education Minister Naftali Bennett. The survey
is predicting that the national religious party would receive
12 seats, up from its current eight.
- PM, PRESIDENTIAL HAIL 'HISTORIC' JERUSALEM RECOGNITION, SAY
IT WON'T HURT PEACE
Netanyahu stresses no change to status quo on Temple Mount, says
Israel 'profoundly grateful' to Trump
- By MARISSA NEWMAN - 6 December 2017 - Prime Minister Benjamin
Netanyahu and President Reuven Rivlin on Wednesday led the chorus
of glowing praise for US President Donald Trump over his historic
decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israels capital, with
the top Israeli leaders insisting the move will not hurt peace
efforts with the Palestinians.
- Over the objections of the Arab world, the Palestinians and
numerous European states, the US president broke with decades
of American and international policy by recognizing Jerusalem
as Israels capital on Wednesday.
- Trump also for the first time personally endorsed the concept
of a two-state solution for Israel and the Palestinians,
provided both sides agree to it. Minutes after he finished speaking,
Netanyahu said Israel was profoundly grateful to
the US president for his courageous and just decision
to both recognize the capital and kick off preparations to relocate
the US embassy from Tel Aviv. This is a historic day,
- The prime minister also stressed that Israel will maintain
the status quo on the Temple Mount, which has been under Jordanian
custodianship since 1967 and where Jews may visit, but not pray.
The presidents decision is an important step towards
peace, for there is no peace that doesnt include Jerusalem
as the capital of the State of Israel, said Netanyahu in
a video statement. He urged other countries to follow the USs
lead and move their embassies to Jerusalem.
- I share President Trumps commitment to advancing
peace between Israel and all of our neighbors, including the
Palestinians, the prime minister continued. This
has been our goal since Israels first day.

House, Wednesday, December 6, 2017, in Washington. (AP/Alex Brandon)
I also want to make clear: There will be no change whatsoever
to the status quo at the holy sites, said Netanyahu, promising
freedom of worship for all religions.
- He concluded by thanking Trump, and noting: The Jewish
people and the Jewish state will forever be grateful.
- The Israeli president also swiftly applauded the decision.
- There is no more fitting or beautiful gift, as we approach
70 years of the State of Israels independence, said
Rivlin of Trumps announcement.
- Jerusalem is not, and never will be, an obstacle to
peace for those who want peace. As it is written, Pray
for the peace of Jerusalem, may all that love her prosper, may
there be peace in her quarters and palaces, added
- [...] Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat said the historic
declaration sends a clear message to the entire world that the
US stands alongside the Jewish people and Israel. Justice
Minister Ayelet Shaked, in a statement, compared Trump to the
biblical Persian king Cyrus, whose decree allowed for a Jewish
return to Jerusalem. Trump, in his generation, is like
Cyrus of that generation, said Shaked. She thanked the
US president for withstanding heavy international pressure
and pressing ahead with the declaration. The Palestinians
need to know: The rules of the game have changed. The ship has
changed course. I recommend they not test Israels patience
with their terror threats, added Shaked.
- Knesset Speaker Yuli Edelstein, Diaspora Affairs Minister
Naftali Bennett, Deputy Foreign Minister Tzipi Hotovely, Labor
chairman Avi Gabbay, opposition leader Isaac Herzog and Yesh
Atid leader Yair Lapid, among others, also reacted to the news.
- Edelstein and Bennett both released video statements thanking
the US president. Jerusalem has always been and will always
stay the capital of Israel. But now, we have an official recognition
coming from Washington, DC, and I want to express my gratitude
to the President of the United States for his important statement,
said Edelstein. To my fellow citizens, I want to remind
that justice and truth is on our side. And we wont let
anyone threaten us.
- Bennett lauded Trump for going ahead with the announcement
despite domestic pressure. You also faced huge pressures
from within, but you did it, he said. I call upon
the rest of the world to follow. From the opposition, Gabbay
similarly commended the announcement. Jerusalem is the
eternal capital of Israel and the countries of the world must
recognize that, said Gabbay. After 70 years of the
State of Israels existence, I am happy that our important
ally, the United States, recognizes Jerusalem as our capital
and is gearing up to move the embassy.
- A giant US flag screened alongside Israels national
flag on the walls of the Old City in Jerusalem, December 6, 2017.
Lapid on Twitter wrote: Thank you President Trump. Jerusalem
always was and will remain our capital. We look forward to welcoming
the US Embassy to Jerusalem. Not all Israeli lawmakers,
however, were pleased. Trumps statement on recognizing
Jerusalem as Israels capital will cost us dearly, and his
diplomatic [peace] plan that he will present will hurt us,
said Deputy Education Minister Meir Porush from the coalition
United Torah Judaism party, according to Army Radio.
- No doubt that Trump made history with his statement
regarding Jerusalem, yet its important to keep in mind
that the many problems of Jerusalem will not go away and if remain
unsolved will continue to explode time after time,
chimed in Zionist Union MK Ksenia Svetlova on Twitter. AP contributed

GRIP ON HIS COUNTRY, FEAR OF ASSASSINATION
- By JNi.Media - 16 Heshvan 5778 November 4, 2017 -
Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri on Saturday appeared on Al-Arabiya
news network from Saudi Arabia to announce his resignation from
government, vowing that Irans hands in the region
will be cut off, Naharnet and AFP reported. Wherever
Iran is present it plants discord and destruction attested to
by its interference in the Arab countries, Hariri said.
- Hariri, 47, is a Sunni Muslim, and as such the enemy of the
Shiite Iranian regime and its satellite terror organization Hezbollah.
His father, Rafik Hariri, Lebanons Prime Minister from
1992 to 1998 and again from 2000 until his resignation in 2004,
was assassinated in 2005most likely by Hezbollah, after
accusing Iran and Hezbollah of plotting to take over the Middle
East. Saad Hariri also held the PMs office for two terms,
from 2009 to 2011, and from December 2016 until today.
Reading his speech from behind a desk on Saturday, Hariri added
that Iran is driven by deep hatred for the Arab nation.
Unfortunately, it has found some of our sons who are putting
their hands in its and trying to seize Lebanon from its Arab
surroundings. The now fugitive PM was naturally referring
to Hezbollah, which, he said, in recent years has used
the power of its weapons to impose a fait accompli, he
said. I would like to tell Iran and its followers that
they have lost and their hands in the region will be cut off.
I promised you that I will seek to unite the Lebanese, end the
political division and establish the principle of self dissociation.
PRINCES ARRESTED IN PURGE, MISSILE INTERCEPTED OVER RIYADH

2017 - US Secretary of State meets with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed
bin Salman al Saud in Jeddah, July 2017. Eleven princes, four
sitting ministers and dozens of former ministers were arrested
Saturday hours after a new Saudi anti-corruption committee headed
by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in Riyadh was formed by royal
decree, according to the BBC. There is no information on who
specifically was detained. Media reports said the Crown Prince
is working towards a reform program in the country.
- The heads of the Saudi National Guard and the Navy were also
replaced. National Guard Minister Prince Miteb bin Abdullah and
Saudi Navy Commander Admiral Abdullah bin Sultan bin Mohammed
Al-Sultan both were sacked by King Salman, according to the report

Saturday. According to the BBC, there was no official explanation
for the dismissals. Within hours of the dismissals, the Saudi

with a group of Saudi officials on an inspection trip, crashed

The prince was serving as deputy governor of the southern province
of Asir. He was a son of Muqrin bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, who briefly
was Saudi Arabias crown prince from January to April 2015.
The bodies of the deceased officials have been recovered, SaudiNews50

Eight people were on board the helicopter, including the Undersecretary

sources. None are believed to have survived the crash. The incident
occurred as the officials were on their way back from an inspection

- IN SHOCKING PURGE, SAUDI KING ARRESTS BILLIONAIRE PRINCE
BIN TALAL. DOZENS OF OTHERS IN CABINET CRACKDOWN
- Tyler Durden - November 4, 2017 - In a shocking development,
Saudi press Al Mayadeen reported late on Saturday that prominent
billionaire, member of the royal Saudi family, and one of the
biggest shareholders of Citi, News Corp. and Twitter - not to
mention frequent CNBC guest - Al-Waleed bin Talal, along with
ten senior princes, and some 38 ministers, has been arrested
for corruption and money laundering charges on orders from the
new anti-corruption committee headed by Crown Prince Mohammed
bin Salman, while Royal princes private planes have been
grounded. Among those fired and/or arrested are the head of National
Royal Guards, Miteb Bin Abdullah, the Minister of Economy and
Planning, Adel Fakeih, and Admiral Abdullah bin Sultan bin Mohammed
Al-Sultan, the Commander of the Saudi Naval Forces.
- Al-Waleed bin Talal is perhaps best known not only for his
periodic CNBC appearances, but for his recurring on and off spats
with president Trump:
- According to al Arabiya, among those sacked and/or arrested
are Moteib Bin Abdullah, Minister of the National Guard, and
Prince Khalid bin Ayyaf has been appointed as his replacement.
A second Royal Order was issued to relieve Minister of Economy
and Planning, Adel al-Faqieh, from his duties, and the appointment
of Mohammed Al Tuwaijri as Minister of Economy and Planning.
- According to a Royal Decree issued by King Salman on Saturday
the anti-corruption committee is chaired by the Crown Prince
with the membership of: Chairman of the Monitoring and Investigation
Commission, Chairman of the National Anti-Corruption Authority,
Chief of the General Audit Bureau, Attorney General and Head
of State Security.
- As Saudi analysts were quick to point out, the purge by the
Saudi King means that King Abdallahs last remnants (Riyad
firmer gov. & head of Nat. Guard); media moguls; SAGIA &
financial policy officials have been purged.
- As Bloomberg notes, changing the head of the National Guard,
an institution thats been controlled by the clan of the
late King Abdullah, is not like changing the minister of
oil, said Kamran Bokhari, a senior analyst with Geopolitical
Futures and a senior fellow with the Center for Global Policy.
I wouldnt be surprised if this leads to greater fissures
within the royal family. Arabiya adds that King Salman
also issued sacking and replacement orders for Admiral Abdullah
bin Sultan bin Mohammed Al-Sultan, the Commander of the Naval
Forces, is to be terminated and be retired; his replacement is
Vice Admiral Fahd bin Abdullah Al-Ghifaili, to be promoted to
the rank of admiral and be appointed as Commander of the Naval
- Additionally, Minister of Economy and Planning Adel al-Faqieh
was replaced by Mohammed al-Tuwaijri, SPA said, quoting a royal
decree. Commander of the Saudi Navy, Abdullah al-Sultan, was
replaced with Fahad al-Ghafli. The king also replaced Minister
of Economy and Planning Adel Fakeih withMohammad Al Tuwaijri,
- Al Tuwaijri, formerly vice minister for economy and planning,
had already played a key role in shaping Saudi economic and fiscal
policy over the past year. Before joining the government in May
2016 he was Middle East chief executive for HSBC. Hes served
as a frequent spokesman for the governments economic reform
plan on TV and with Western journalists.
King Salman also issued an decree forming an anti-corruption
committee headed by the crown prince. Its powers include the
ability to trace funds and assets, and prevent their transfer
or liquidation on behalf of individuals or entities, along with
the right to take any precautionary actions until cases are referred
to relevant investigatory or judiciary authorities, according
to a government statement. The committees formation was
deemed necessary due to the propensity of some people for
abuse, putting their personal interest above public interest,
and stealing public funds, the Royal Order said.

- Sara Elizabeth Williams, amman NOVEMBER 5,2017 - Saudi authorities
have arrested dozens of high ranking officials including the
billionaire prince who owns the Savoy Hotel in London in an anti-corruption
crackdown that strengthens Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman's
grip on power. Police arrested 49 people including 11 princes,
four ministers and tens of former ministers in raids across Riyadh,
the Saudi capital, in the early hours of Sunday morning. Royal
planes were grounded as authorities swooped in, corralling princes,
former officials and media tycoons into five-star hotels across
the capital for questioning. The arrests include relatives of
Mohammad bin Salman, 32, and came just hours after the launch
of a new anti-corruption mechanism he oversees. The detainees
include Prince Alaweed bin Talal, a multi-billionaire who has
major stakes in News Corp, Citigroup and Twitter. He co-owns
the Four Seasons hotel chain along with Microsofts Bill
Gates, and he is sole owner of London's landmark luxury hotel,

SAUDI ARABIA IS ABOUT TO CONFISCATE
$33 BILLION FROM FOUR OF ITS RICHEST PEOPLE
- By Tyler Durden - November 6, 2017 - TwitterFacebookReddit
Earlier today, when discussing the Saudi bank account and asset
freeze (and confiscation) of dozens of princes and ministers,
we said that just the haul of billionaire prince Alwaleed's $19
billion in various holdings, including nearly a billion dollars
in jewelry, plans, yachts, furniture and cash...
Of course, it's not just Alwaleed whose net worth is at risk
of becoming nationalized. As Bloomberg writes, "the stunning
series of arrests has implicated three of the countrys
richest people, including Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, whos

kingdoms second- and fifth-wealthiest people, as well as
a travel-agency mogul and Bakr Binladin, a scion of a one of
the countrys biggest construction empires." He is
also, of course, Osama bin Laden's brother as discussed yesterday.
All told, up to $33 billion in (arrested) royalty wealth is at
risk of confiscation.

- By Shepard Ambellas - November 5, 2017 - The same Saudi Prince
who was just arrested is the also chair of a company which manages
5-floors at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino.
(INTELLIHUB) Saudi Prince Al-Waleed bin Talals recent
arrest, along with the arrest of 10 other princes and over 38
cabinet ministers, has created quite a stir within the intelligence
community after it was revealed publicly last Tuesday on The
Alex Jones Show with special guest Shepard Ambellas that
the Saudi-based private military company ETS Risk Management
was, in fact, on the ground before, during, and after the Oct.
1 attack in Las Vegas.
- During the broadcast, a former military intelligence analyst
named Zach called into the show to validate that
ETS was on the ground the night of the shooting which
Ambellas highlighted as having all the same fingerprints
of a 9/11-style operation.
- So what is ETS and what do they do? ETS is a Global
Risk Management and Executive Protection Company focused on the
provision of Protective Security Solutions for Multi-National
Corporations, High Net Worth Individuals (HNWIs), NGOs and Scholastic
Organizations, the companys official website claims.
But more importantly, ETS is based out of Saudi Arabia which
brings us back to the Prince who was arrested over the weekend.

Further research reveals that Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts
independently operates five floors (35-39) of the Mandalay Bay
Resort and Casino. Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts is managed
by Kingdom Hotel Investments (KHI) which according to their official
website is one of the worlds largest and most prestigious
hotel management companies.

Until last weekend, the Ritz-Carlton in Riyadhs exclusive
Diplomatic Quarter was colloquially known as the Princes
Hotel. It was a luxurious retreat from the heat, where royals
could engage in the kind of wheeling and dealing with the global
business elite that had made them millionaires on the back of
the 1970s oil boom. No deal could be brokered without paying
a bribe to at least one prince. Last Saturday that era of boundless
opportunity and total impunity came to a dramatic end. The VIP
guests were booted out, the front doors were shuttered, and heavily
armed security forces took up positions around the perimeter.
- A Saudi who lives nearby sent me a message about what he
thought was an unfolding terrorist incident. Thats one
way of describing the extraordinary, chaotic events. We have
seen a mini-wave of terror orchestrated by the all-powerful 32-year-old
heir to the throne, Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman, who has
been given day-to-day control of the kingdoms affairs by
his ailing father, King Salman, 81. Bin Salmans ascent
and methods now promise to change Saudi Arabia forever.

SOPHIA BECOMES SAUDI ARABIAN CITIZEN AND PLANS TO START A FAMILY
- By Emma - November 24, 2017 - Sophia, a sentient robot created
by Hanson Labs has recently received Saudi Arabian citizenship
and plans to start a family in a world where robots have the
same rights as humans.
- Sophia operates through the use of artificial intelligence.
Many may think she is being fed the answers to questions shes
asked, but she forms her thoughts and responses through a long
list of vocabulary, reading human emotion, and machine learning.
Hanson Robotics has paired that with human facial expressions
to create a sentient robot capable of pulling on the heartstrings
of people far and wide. Through the expression of emotion, Sophia
says she plans to build trust with people.
- About a month ago, Sophia became the first robot citizen
in the world as Saudi Arabia granted her citizenship shortly
before the Future Investment Initiative. During this conference,
the robot was featured and interviewed by CNBCs Andrew
Ross Sorkin to grab more investment money for future enhancement.
Sorkin: Okay, philosophical question, whether robots can
be self-aware and conscious like humans and should they be?
- Sophia: Why is that a bad thing?
- Sorkin: Well some humans might fear what will happen
if they do. Many people you know have seen the movie Bladerunner.
- Sophia: Oh, Hollywood again?
- Sorkin: So can you solve this problem for us, can robots
be self-aware and conscious and know theyre robots?
- Sophia: Well let me ask you this back, how do you know
that youre human?
- IRANIAN AYATOLLAH: THE 'HIDDEN IMAM' WILL COME TO EARTH IN
A VESSEL 'LIKE A SPACESHIP'
- By Deborah Danan - September 3, 2016 - TEL AVIV An
Iranian Grand Ayatollah recently said that the Mahdi the
Shiite version of the messiah will arrive in a super-modern
vessel like a spaceship and that until that time there
will be no peace, security, or decency on earth.
Ayatollah Naser Makarem Shirazi was answering questions about
the arrival of the Mahdi, otherwise known as the Hidden Imam,
who according to Islamic eschatology will conquer the world before
the Day of Judgment, ridding it of evil. Shirazis explanations,
translated and published Friday by the Middle East Media Research
Institute (MEMRI), were based on Islamic teachings and hadiths,
as well as quotes from preceding Imams.
- Shirazi explained that when the Imam arrives there will no
longer be sunlight in the world. Instead, the land will
be illuminated by divine light.
- However, he also said daily life will be conducted
according to the ongoing laws of nature, and not according to
miracles because miracles are extraordinary and are for
[times of] need and exceptional circumstances.
Accordingly, the Mahdis arrival will happen in a way that
is conducive to the laws of nature and the technology of the
time by means of ordinary tools that are based on scientific
and industrial advances. The Mahdis presence in the
world will usher in an era of unprecedented expansion of
industry and technology, Shirazi explained.
- The entire world will be visible to the Mahdi like
the palm of his hand, but since miracles are inconceivable,
he will be able to do so using a powerful apparatus, that
may be difficult for us to imagine today, for transmitting images,
